General Maintenance And Repair For All Synthetic Bags
Larger bags such as backpacks, panniers and duffels are numbered sequentially as I make them. Smaller items such as belts, pouches, wallets, etc. are generally not given serial numbers. You can usually find the serial number on a tag which is hidden somewhere inside a pocket or inconspicuous corner of the bag. The tag always includes my "K" imprint. There are minor variations of this arrangement, especially in the earlier bags. Additionally, I occasionally make prototype or one-off pieces which do not recieve any sort of identifying mark such as a serial number or tag. If you have questions about the provenance of your bag feel free to get in touch with me and I'll provide any info that I can. Please include a photograph of your bag and its tag/number with your inquiry.
If anything on your bag ever fails because I made it wrong, used crappy materials or otherwise screwed it up somehow, I'll fix it for free. All you pay is shipping to me.
If anything on your bag fails because it is old, worn out or damaged under extraordinary circumstances (they usually call this "abuse"), contact me to discuss it. If we decide it's fixable AND worth fixing, I'll repair it for cheap or maybe even free if you're really nice. Again, you pay shipping to me on repairs and I'll cover the return trip.

- replacement 1" plastic buckles are $2 USD shipped to your door
- a nice big piece of nylon, vinyl or TPU so you can make your own patches is $2 USD shipped to your door

If you have actually used one of my bags to the point of destruction and it's so worn out that it's not worth repairing, contact me with your story! I'll probably want to see the bag in person so I can take some notes on how its life went. Then I'll offer to build you a new bag at a discounted price because you're awesome.
I try to keep it simple. I want your bag to be as useful as possible for as long as possible. If you have any questions or concerns or if anything is unclear at all, don't hesitate to contact me. I am happy to discuss your particular situation. Even if you are not the original purchaser. That said, I reserve the right to ignore anyone who is really trying to abuse the warranty!
